Earth: Created for Life

God created the Earth to sustain Life

So what is the Big Deal and all the fuss about the Creation vs. Evolution Debate?

Why even be concerned about it? Why not just tell people about Jesus and let the Evolutionists have their ideas? Why is sorting through this controversy so important? We supply some of the answers in this Free PDF Homeschool Bible and Science lesson that we put together for you after viewing the wonderful Creation Proclaims, Volume 2: Flight and Spike from the Creation Proclaims DVD series available right now at Piedmont Education Services for only $11.95 (that’s the lowest price you’ll find anywhere on the internet!). In the final section of the DVD, host Dr. Jobe Martin and special guests from Answers in Genesis explore amazing facts about the Earth that clearly demonstrate it was created to sustain Life. Wonder Weta: The Intersection of Faith and Science

Homeschoolers look at insect

Insects are amazing little creatures. God has created a vast array of them for us so we can marvel at his power and wisdom. Why not tap into the natural curiosity children have about insects and start an insect collection using this wonderful insects unit study page put together by Cindy Downes?

But here’s one insect we bet you’ve never seen. The weta is a cricket-like insect twice the size of a mouse (!) that lives in New Zealand. Watch this amazing video about the weta, how it can literally be frozen in the winter and unthaw in spring and still be alive! This video, and many more like it, can be found on the excellent creation/science/Bible DVD series Creation Proclaims. Our kids love it (especially the dinosaurs) and your kids will too.
